American Food Company Recalls

Im sure by now you have hear the hub bub over all the recalls this week with the American Food Companies that are produced in Diamond's SC plant. The list is extensive and ever expanding. It does not affect any of the food that makes it to the UK from those brands and only affects part of our country.

My food of course was affected and has been recalled. I purchased something new today as I have no idea when (and if I want to go back to taste of the wild, although its been really good to us) its going to be available again. I decided on Acana Pacifica. Its quite a bit more expensive but appears I will be able to feed significantly less as its significantly more calorie dense than what I was feeding. Its available in the UK, saw their website, does anyone use it or have any info on it?

our lovely import boy from martina is on ranchlands..... he doesnt eat very much in weight and this is ideal because as you say you feed less- one thing that is very much noted is his poos are very very hard- watch for constipation or very hard ( uncomfortable) poops!!!

I fed Acana Prarie Lands I think when the supplier ran out of Orijen as I'm sure its made by the same people. Pacific kind is the fish variety I assume?

Acana & Orijen are the best completes I've tried over here if you can ignore that that are over £60 for 13kg arghhhhhh!!
