hip scoring age?

who has there st bernards hip scored at a year old?
who thinks its best to wait and until what age???

I think it's better to wait till 18 months or 2 years.
At Daja, I made an x-ray at 13 months because she has one small operation. But for official mark I made new one when she had 18 months.
I don't like when dogs are x-rayed at 1 year or 13 months for official marks.

In Norway hip x-ray is done from 18 months , elbow x-ray is done from 12 months . I`ve waited until my three dogs passed 18 months with both hip & elbow x-rays. All of them HD & AA free
I think they are too young at 12 months, I know that you may get "better" results if you x-ray at that age....But I prefer to get the right results, even if that means the dog can`t be used in breeding....The most important thing in my life is my dogs health and happiness

I agree!!!!!!

In our country for most of the breeds the minimum age to x-ray is 12 months of age but for 11 breeds included the Saint bernard the minimum age is 18 months to x-ray.
