| They are absolultey gorgeous! I love them both. I adore their freckles. Why is it that North American Saints rarely have freckles? Are the gene pools that distinct? What other differences are there between European and North American Saints? It seems as though you haven't been plagued with the poor temperament that is unfortunately not uncommon on this side of the pond.
I just love you pups... they are so very sweet.

| I think the freckles stem from old English bloodlines.
The dogs here nowadays seem to be a lot less freckly than the dogs you see in pics over here from 20 years ago, probably due to imported lines breeding the spots out. Personally I do like a few freckles on the nose & don't mind a couple on their legs. The ones on their legs always seem to be brown & if there are too many make them look 'muddy'
In my D litter all the pups had a few spots except Dennis. Storm's spots just kept appearing & still do even at 8 months!! Sh'e like a giant freckle!!!! | |
