It seems like we have been having some bad luck with our saints the last couple of weeks. Freddy had a bad reaction to a bumblebee last week and this week Louie is refusing to eat and has diarrhea. He didn't want dinner last night so I cooked him some rice and plain hamburger. He nibbled on it it a little bit. Then this morning he wasn't interested in his food again. We took him to the vet this morning where they will do some blood work and an x-ray. I hope everything is ok Sad He's been very needy all week.

Well we still don't know what's wrong with Louie. The blood test only showed a slight elevation of white blood cells. Nothing conclusive according to the vet. he then did an x-ray. His stomach was extended, but he doesn't see anything right now that would warrant surgery like a blockage. He gave him a shot to flush him out and some pills for the upset stomach. He has eaten maybe a cup of hamburger and rice. We mixed his water with pedialyte, but he hasn't drank much. Hopefully this clears up in the next day or so. The vet said he has seen a lot of the same symptoms present to him the last couple of weeks.
