| Oh No, so sorry cheri Sounds like she is having a Phantom. Normally if a bitch drops their coat during 'pregnancy' its a sign that there are no pups & its a phantom. We scan around 28-30 days, thats the optimum time. May be worth re-scanning in a week as if she only has one or 2, they may be more visible then. |

| Oh DOH!! Lucy has a phantom same time as Maisy really was in whelp.. she had all the signs & I was completely convinced she was...and so was she!!! However, we had her hipscored after the phantom & her scores were hurrendous, even though she never been lame a day in her life or have any signs of HD, so I was actually relieved that she didn't take :-( Am a great believer in that everything happens for a reason, so if Dora isn't in whelp something else good will be in the pipeline x | |

| Dana was scanned at 28 days and the vet said definitely no pups. He even bet me £10 that she wasn't in whelp. By 45 days she was so obviously in whelp that I had her scanned again and five pups showed up. When they were born they were massive pups so I don't know where they were hiding at 28 days ! Dana was a very big bitch though. | |

| Lucy's phantom lasted the duration that her pregnancy would have!! Thankfully we had puppies arrive around the time that she was due so she spent her days peering into the whelping box. Maisy was very good & didnt mind & Lucy was happy | |
