travel sickness

Hi All,

My mums friend has just got a dog from a rescue centre (not a st bernard) and she suffers from travel sickness in the car, can anyone recommend anything to help cure or reduce this?

im sure there are plenty of products

id try dorwest herbs personally- just give them a call

i cant name anything as ive not had this problem

im sure driving the dog often for small trips with windows open may help aswell

even if its just to the top of the road and back every day- i suppose she may not have been in a car very often or for a long time

We have a Golden Retriever pup called Rory - aka Puking Pedro...

The furthest he has been able to travel is 20 minutes before being sick.

We have used Cerenia tablets - the 160mg as he is 25kg & they have worked brilliantly.
You give them at least 1.5 hours before travelling with some food & it lasts 24 hours.

They come in packs of 4 £25 'ish & you need a prescription or get them at the vet.

These have worked well for him I have to say... we are now weaned to half a tablet
