| Has anyone used anything like this item from Fit & Fertile? http://www.fitandfertile.com/shop/whelping/milkbar-puppy-feeder.html Our co-owned bitch Millie is really very depressed, she has no interest in the puppies, will not clean them or even lifts her head when they are chirping. She will lay still to feed them & they are all gaining weight so I am not concerned about her milk etc, however she usually lives as part of a pack at her home & refuses to reintergrate into my pack, in which she lived from 8 weeks to 18 months. In fact she wants to savage them, so we can't give her any comapny She seems really lonely, unhappy & not eating & we are both considering Carley taking her home this weekend. However the pups will be 18 days old & we are not even considering weaning them yet. They have all had Skinners milk at some stage & are fine with it, but I am far from overjoyed at the thought of bottle feeding 10 babies.. Wondered if anyone had used one of the se milk bat contraptions? | |

| Im so sorry Millie is having such a hard time. I have never had pups so I have no suggestions. Have you rang the vet? Could she be having a thyroid issue since having the pups or an infection? | |

| Just an update on the carnage at my house... Millie went home Thursday night & I embarked on trying to get the fur babies to lap.. no chance!! So a few feeds bottle feeding everyone one at a time & their tums were alot better, confirming Millie's milkk was making them poorly. Yesterday they had a couple of tiny raw meatballs & hey presto they slept 6 hours :-) This morning all solid tums whoo hooo. Poor Millie has eclampsia & is in the vets back up north, so fingers crossed she gets back to her barmy self as soon as Heather | |
