Video of Bloat

Video of an Akita suffering from bloat - thought it might be useful for people not familiar with the condition.

Please note the video was taken by the new foster owners of the dog who had never seen bloat (explained in the writing below on the Youtube clip) so they weren't heartlessly videoing the dog knowing what was wrong - once they realised there was a problem he was taken to the vet for treatment.
The guy speaking on the video is voiceover added afterwards for educational benefit

worth adding my own girl who bloated didnt froth at all, however we perhaps caught her abig early .... my rule is if they dont look well, measure there stomach area, wait 3 mins and remeasure.... if they grow then straight to vets.

i have had the odd "funny look" from a dog, ive paniked and measured and been reassured they are fine after a couple of measurements a few mins later .... well worth knowing where your tape measure is!
